KowanyamaKowanyama is situated in the Western Cape York Peninsula region of far north Queensland, with a population of approximately 1500 people.There are many services provided in the community including medical facilities, education, churches, shops, banking, leisure/sporting facilities and a police station. Although CAPE PCYC is not currently operating in this area, it is proposed that the CAPE PCYC model will be implemented in the near future.
