Napranum

The 1000 strong community of Napranum is approximately 13 km south of Weipa on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula. Napranum was formerly known as Weipa.

There are many services provided in the community including medical facilities, education, shops, sporting/leisure facilities and community police. There is also a saw mill and sand quarry.
