Pormpuraaw

The community of Pormpuraaw, formerly Edward River Mission until 1987, is located on the remote west coast of the Cape York Peninsula.

There are many services provided in the community including medical facilities, education, churches, shops, banking, leisure/sporting facilities and a police station.

Although CAPE PCYC is not currently operating in this area, it is proposed that the CAPE PCYC model will be implemented in the near future.
